The USB to 8 Digital Channels Interface provides precise digital control and synchronization for behavioral and neuroscience experiments. It connects via USB and offers eight independent digital input/output channels for triggering and timing coordination.
Each channel is accessible through BNC connectors supporting 0–3.3 V logic levels and tolerant up to 5 V. A DB9 connector is also included, wired in parallel with the BNC interfaces for flexible connectivity options.
The module integrates seamlessly with all our devices, including the Water Sispenser with Lickometer, Air Puff Whisker & Olfactory Stimulator, Behavioral Camera with Infrared Illumination, and Mechanical Whisker Stimulator. It also interfaces easily with external imaging systems, such as our OiS200 optical imaging system, and other instruments that accept TTL signals.
Fully compatible with PsychoPy, it enables the creation of behavioral routines with accurate synchronization and reliable hardware control.
The USB to 8 Digital Channels Interface can toggle digital pins, read inputs, wait for triggers, or generate square waves at various frequencies.
